I always loved to bake and cook, but I started getting serious about baking cakes during the early days of the pandemic. I would bake cakes every week and deliver slices to friends and neighbors. Baking cakes went from a way to stay busy during a hard time, to a creative outlet and source of connection. 

I love fostering community through the joy of baked goods. Birch Tree Bakes was born from that spirit. Let me create a treat for you, and then Birch Tree Bakes gives 5% of the proceeds each month to one local community organization. Organizations I have supported so far:
